Lightec Joins Local Energy Solutions Conference

The first Local Energy Solutions conference was an outstanding success with over 300 attendees representing local energy committees, government, business, and education.  Senator Jeanne Shaheen received a standing ovation for her keynote address in which she emphasized the importance of local action on energy issues and praised New Hampshire for its model efforts and pioneering work.

The event provided participants with the opportunity to learn about available tools and funding, and one of the most valued aspects of the conference was the opportunity for local energy committees to meet face to face.  Seeing the number of people involved and the work being done in NH to reduce energy use and greenhouse gas emissions left many participants feeling inspired and reinvigorated. 

As a member of Senator Jeanne Shaheen's Small Business Advisory Council, Jim Grady, President of LighTec, Inc.,  had the Senator stop by his booth before giving her keynote address.
